Black Urad Dal Porridge Pancakes (Savory or Sweet)

Ingredients
For the Batter:

- ½ cup Water or Buttermilk (adjust as needed)

- 1 tsp Jaggery or Honey (only for sweet version)
For Savory Pancakes:
- ¼ cup Grated Carrots
- 1 tbsp Chopped Onions
- ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Green Chili (finely chopped, optional)
- 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
Instructions
Prepare the Batter:
- In a bowl, mix Black Urad Dal Porridge mix, rice flour, salt, and water/buttermilk to form a smooth batter.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes to absorb flavors.
For Savory Pancakes:
- Add carrots, onions, cumin, chilies, and coriander to the batter. Mix well.
For Sweet Pancakes:
- Stir in jaggery/honey for a naturally sweet taste.
Cook the Pancakes:
- Heat a pan, grease with ghee or oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter, spread it gently, and cook on medium heat until golden brown.
- Flip and cook the other side.
